Hydroxyzine Pamoate 50mg Capsules: My Experience and Side Effects
Has anyone else tried Hydroxyzine Pamoate 50mg Capsules? I was prescribed these for my anxiety and they seem to help, but I've been experiencing some side effects. I'm curious to hear about other people's experiences and to get some advice.
I've noticed a bit of drowsiness which I expected, but there are some other side effects I'm not sure are related.
The side effects described on the packaging are quite long and I'm not sure if I'm experiencing some of the minor ones, or if I'm overthinking it. I'd appreciate some input from others who have used this drug.

I experienced a really bad rash and I couldn't figure out what it was from. Turns out it was this medication. I had to stop taking it immediately and it took a while for the rash to go away. Thankfully, I didn't experience any other serious side effects though. If you see any of those signs, take it as a warning and stop the medication right away.
I took these for a bit before a surgery to help me sleep. They knocked me out cold, but I woke up feeling like I was in a fog the next day. Not sure if I'd take them again.
I'm not sure what the biggest issue with these is, but my doctor told me to try these and I don't think they were great for me.
Another user here - I've had some serious allergic reactions. Stayed away because of those. The pain and itching from hives was no joke.
