Hyftor 0.2% Gel: My Experience with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Treatment
Hyftor 0.2% Gel is a topical medication that has shown some promise in treating facial angiofibromas associated with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). I've been using it for a few months now, and I wanted to share my experience with anyone who might be considering it. The gel seems to work by targeting specific pathways that cause these growths, but it's not without its side effects. I've had some skin irritation and redness, but nothing too severe. Overall, I think it's been worth it so far, but I'm curious to hear from others who have tried it. What has your experience been like?

Just started using it last week. How often do you apply it? Once a day? Twice a day? Any tips for applying it?
Hyftor 0.2% Gel has been a game-changer for me. I've had TSC for years, and this is the first treatment that has actually made a noticeable difference. I've had to deal with some itching and dry skin, but it's worth it for the reduced growths.
Sadly, I had to stop using it because of the dizziness and chest pain. It was scary and made me realize that this isn’t the right treatment for everyone. If you experience anything like that, please seek medical attention right away.
I applied it twice a day for the first month, then switched to once a day after that. It seemed to work better for me that way. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly after applying it, and avoid getting it in your eyes.
