I used Lidocaine 0.5% Inj, 50ml for a minor surgical procedure, and I experienced some severe side effects that I didn't expect. I had a lot of burning, numbness, and tingling sensations. I also felt really anxious and had a hard time breathing. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or if I'm just unlucky. The doctor said it was rare, but it sure felt scary at the time. What should I expect if I have to use it again?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who experienced this. I felt like I was having a severe reaction when I used Lidocaine for a minor surgery. It was terrifying, but I managed to get through it. It's important to stay calm and seek medical help if needed.

I had a friend who had a really bad reaction to Lidocaine. It was scary, but she managed to get through it with the help of her medical team. Just stay calm and seek medical help if needed.

I've had Lidocaine a few times for dental work and never had any issues. Maybe it's just your body reacting differently to it. Have you talked to your doctor about switching to a different numbing agent?

Have you tried any alternative numbing agents? I've heard about different options like bupivacaine or prilocaine, but I'm not sure if they have fewer side effects.

I've had Lidocaine for dental work and never had any issues, but I've heard it can be different for everyone. Just stay calm and follow your doctor's instructions, and you should be fine. Just pay attention and report any side effects!

If you're experiencing severe side effects, it's definitely worth talking to your doctor about other options. There are different numbing agents available, and your doctor can help you find one that works better for you.

I work in a dental office and have seen patients react badly to Lidocaine. Sometimes it's due to an allergic reaction, but other times it's just a rare side effect. Always good to report these to the FDA.

I had a similar experience with Lidocaine. It was during a dental procedure, and I felt really lightheaded and confused afterward.
