Hello, I was recently prescribed Xpovio 60mg Twice Weekly for my multiple myeloma. I've been reading about the possible side effects, but I would love to hear from others who have taken this medication. What was your experience like? Did you encounter any of the urgent side effects? If so, how did you manage them? I'm especially curious about the long-term effects and how it has impacted your daily life. Also, I am wondering if anyone has tips on dealing with the more common side effects like fatigue, stomach pain, or sleep disturbances? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I have been on Xpovio for about six months now, and it has been a bit of a rollercoaster. I experienced some of the more serious side effects like electrolyte problems and high blood sugar. I had to adjust my diet and monitor my electrolyte levels regularly, but my doctor helped me manage it. My blood counts are better, but I have to watch for infections. I am worried about the long-term effects, especially on my nervous system, but so far, it's been manageable. I will say that Xpovio didn't work for me, but I am so glad that I have it while I can.

I was really nervous about the potential side effects, but I have to say the holidays were better than I thought they would be. I was surprised that the only thing that happened was some cramps and a bit of diarrhea, but it was mild. It is hard to know what you are going to feel like, but it is worth a shot if the doctor says to give it a go. Hold on to good hygiene though just in case.

I experienced double vision and changes in eyesight, which was really frightening. I had to consult with an ophthalmologist and make some adjustments to my treatment plan. If you experience any visual changes, don't wait to see a specialist. It is tough to know what you will feel like. But I didn't have any of the really bad things. It was scary to think about, but I am ok.

I wish I knew about the nervous system problems earlier. I experienced some hallucinations and memory issues, which were really unsettling. I had to discontinue Xpovio because of this. It's frustrating because it was working, but my mental health wasn't worth it.

I can't believe some of the side effects people are experiencing. I hope my experience is better. But it is good to be prepared. I am a good fighter, so I am going to be okay.

I've been on Xpovio for a while now, and while it's managed some of my symptoms, I've had to deal with a lot of fatigue. I've found that taking it easy and listening to my body has helped. If you feel tired, rest. That said, the fatigue has forced me to be more mindful of my needs and activity levels. If you are feeling down it is worth it to talk with someone. There are a lot of resources for this if you need it.

I started Xpovio a few months ago and have had some fatigue and stomach issues, but nothing too severe. Stay hydrated and take it easy if you feel weak. But those electrolyte problems are a real thing, I missed a couple days of work.
