I've been prescribed Ibuprofen 800mg Tablets for chronic pain and inflammation. Has anyone else taken this dosage regularly? I'm curious about the long-term effects and any side effects you might have experienced. Does anyone have tips for managing side effects like indigestion or heartburn? I want to maximize the benefits while minimizing risks. Additionally, are there any alternative pain relievers that are gentler, but as effective at reducing inflammation?

For those experiencing side effects, consider talking to your doctor about using a lower dose or switching to another type of NSAID. I've found that combining it with other pain relief methods like physical therapy or exercise can really help reduce the amount of medication needed.

I take ibuprofen for inflammation after horseback riding. It works wonders. Just make sure to drink plenty of water and take it with food. If you do that, you should be fine.

Ibuprofen is a godsend when it comes to pain relief from dental work. Never had side effects and it has helped me through countless procedures. I would recommend anyone who has dental phobias to use it if they can.

I've had bad experiences with ibuprofen. The side effects were so bad that I had to switch to a different anti-inflammatory. My doctor recommended naproxen, and it's been much better for me. Another friend has had good success with Celebrex.

I've found that taking ibuprofen with a glass of milk helps with stomach issues. Overall, it's worked well for me. I would suggest trying it with food and milk if you're experiencing stomach pain.

I've heard that long-term use of ibuprofen can increase the risk of heart problems. I'm not sure if this is true, but it’s something I’m concerned about given my family history. Has anyone else looked into this?

I've always wondered how often you can continue taking ibuprofen without causing some sort of long-term damage. I know everyone's different, but I would be curious to know how many people have experienced anything over a year of continuous use.
