Ibuprofen/Famotidine Combo: Side Effects and Experiences
I've been prescribed Ibuprofen/famotidine 800-26.6mg Tabs for some ongoing pain and acid reflux issues. The side effects list is pretty long and honestly, I'm a bit worried. I've read about possible kidney problems, liver issues, and even cardiovascular issues. Has anyone else had experience with these? Are they as rare as they seem? How did you know if it was the medication causing issues or something else? What should I do if I notice some of these symptoms?

I take this for migraines and it works wonders but I'm constantly worried about the kidney and liver issues. I have an appointment every three months to get blood tests done just in case.
I have to say this stuff is a lifesaver if you're dealing with pain and reflux. I was in so much discomfort before, and now I can actually function. Just be cautious and pay attention to your body.
Doctor prescribed this to me, and I've been taking it for a few weeks. No major issues, just some minor stomach pain. I'm definitely keeping an eye out for any other symptoms, but so far, so good. Fingers crossed!
I've been on this medication for a year now and I've never experienced any major side effects. Although, I did have a minor allergic reaction once, but my doctor said it was likely due to something else.
I got severe stomach pain and had to stop taking it. Not everyone has the same reaction, but it was a nightmare for me. I would recommend consulting with a different doctor if you encounter any reactions.
Holy cow, the side effects sound horrifying. I'm glad I stick to over-the-counter meds for pain. If I had to choose, I’d rather deal with a little pain than risk these side effects.
