I recently started taking Icosapent Ethyl 1gm Capsules to manage my high triglyceride levels and reduce the risk of heart disease. I'm a couple weeks in, and while I haven't noticed any drastic changes, I'm curious to hear from others who have been on this medication for a while. Has anyone experienced significant improvements in their triglyceride levels or overall heart health? I'm also interested to hear about any side effects you may have encountered, especially given the potential for serious reactions. My doctor assured me the benefits outweigh the risks, but I'm still a bit nervous. What has your experience been like, and do you have any tips for managing side effects or maximizing the benefits of this medication?

I'm a bit skeptical about all this. I had a friend who started taking fish oil supplements, and she ended up with really bad allergies. What if this does the same thing? I'm just not sure it's worth the risk.

I wish I had heard about these before going completely plant-based. It's incredibly difficult to manage triglyceride levels with plant-based food alone, and the weird thing is, I don’t get any side effects from Icosapent, but I do from plant-based supplements.

Wow, I had no idea there were so many possible side effects. I had some constipation, but I never knew blood bruising could be a thing too. This is all a bit scary.

I was put on this medication along with statin therapy. My triglyceride levels were through the roof, and I was at risk for a heart attack. I've been taking Icosapent Ethyl for about a year now, and my levels have returned to normal. I haven't had any side effects, but I do keep a close eye on any changes in my body. It's definitely worth it for the peace of mind.
