I recently started treatment with Idamycin Pfs 20mg/20ml Inj for my leukemia. The side effects listed are pretty intense, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. Has anyone else had experience with this? I'm specifically curious about the long-term effects and how people managed the potential allergic reactions or infections. It's hard to know whether the hair loss or nausea are temporary, or if I need to be worried about the more severe side effects I listed below.

I had some of the more rare side effects, like skin changes and mood swings. It was tough, but my doctor helped me manage it. This med is strong and it is scary, but the good news is that it works! You got this!

Anyone else experiencing extreme fatigue and mood swings? I feel like I'm on an emotional roller coaster.

I've been through it, and it's tough, but manageable. Stay in touch with your doctor and report any side effects immediately. My hair came back after treatment, but it did take a while. Good luck!

I had a few mild side effects, but nothing I couldn't handle. Stay strong and keep communicating with your care team.

I had hair loss and stomach issues, but the rash was the worst. My doctor recommended some topical treatments, aloe helped me. The increased burning sensation in my hands and feet was tough though, and I seriously considered quitting the treatment. Is it normal to feel like this all the time?

Totally agree with staying in touch with your doctor. They can adjust the dosage or switch treatments if the side effects are too severe. I had some bleeding issues, and it was scary, but my doctors managed it well. Don't hesitate to seek medical help if you notice any alarming symptoms!

I've heard this stuff can really mess with your blood counts. Keep an eye on that and stay in touch with your doctor.

I had the worst time with the allergic reactions and hives. It was scary, but I got through it. My family did a lot of research and we tried some supplements to boost my immune system.
