I'm eager to get my flu shot this year but have read mixed reviews on Flucelvax PFS 2022-23. How effective is it compared to other vaccine types? Should I be worried about side effects? I've heard horror stories, but also seen people say it's fine. Does anyone have personal experience with it? I'm planning to get it at my local pharmacy. They've always been quick and professional. It's convenient and saves me a trip to the doctor's office.

The flu shot is so important, especially if you have family or friends who are high risk. I can't believe some people still think it’s optional. I do worry about side effects, but not getting the flu is better than having to deal with it.

I'm not a fan of getting vaccinated at the pharmacy. I've had a better experience at the doctors office, but the wait times are so much worse. It's a toss up. Just make sure you eat something before you get your shot!

It may be worth asking your local pharmacy if you can get an alternative vaccine. I've heard some pharmacies may be able to offer another type. Flucelvax is fine, but if you're nervous, it's better to be safe.

I've always found Flucelvax to be effective. I work in a school and I got the shot last year. Didn't get the flu at all, but I did get a mild fever and chills for a day. It was worth it to stay healthy through flu season.

It’s funny how some people think the side effects are worse than the flu. I've never had a bad reaction to Flucelvax. I took some Ibuprofen and drank lots of water and felt fine. The flu is way worse.
