I found that keeping a journal of my symptoms and side effects was really helpful. It made it easier to talk to my doctor and track any changes.
Be prepared for a lot of tests and monitoring. They'll check your EKG and blood work frequently. I had to stay in the hospital for 3 days, and they kept adjusting the dose. It was a bit overwhelming, but worth it in the end. The side effects weren't too bad for me—just some minor headaches.
