I've been researching Imdelltra, an immunotherapy drug used to treat extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (SCLC). It seems to work by helping the immune system find and kill cancer cells, but I've also read about some serious side effects. I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this treatment or knows more about it. What's your take on the trade-offs between potential benefits and serious side effects?

I'm a nurse who's cared for patients on Imdelltra. Always keep an eye on their breathing and urinary issues. Any signs of infection, we have to report them immediately. But overall, the people who responded well to it had a much better outlook.

I think the key is regular check-ins with your doctor. They can catch the serious side effects early. I had some mild stomach upset, but my doctor adjusted my meds and it cleared up. My liver function was good.

I've been on Imdelltra for a few months now. The tiredness and muscle pains are tough, but I've had no serious side effects yet. Fingers crossed it keeps working!

Good to see others sharing their experiences with this treatment. This was approved in late 2023. It's a big deal and a game changer in treatment processes, but seems to have some scary side effects. It would be good to know if it's worth it.

My mom's been on it. She's had some tough days, but the chemo before this wasn't much better. She's worried about the risk of infection. Especially while her immune system is getting over the stress of the cancer.

I hope the FDA updates the side effects list soon. Some of these seem like they could be managed with more info. I don't think it's worth it to just ignore side effects when they can be treated.

I’m really curious about the long-term effects. Has anyone been on Imdelltra for over a year? How did it go? Are you feeling good?

I've seen some friends go through this. Can confirm everyone reacts differently. My friend had some of those electrolyte problems listed but doctors managed that fast. The headache and dizziness got managed fairly quickly after a few sessions.

Just had a session with my oncologist. He mentioned Imdelltra as a possibility. I'm worried about the allergic reactions and bleeding issues. Has anyone else had to deal with these?

Sounds rough. But if it means more time with loved ones? I hope it works for everyone.
