I was recently prescribed Inderal LA 60mg Capsules for my migraines, and I've been on them for about a month now. Inderal LA is a long-acting form of propranolol, which means I only have to take it once a day. It's been a game-changer for me – my migraines have significantly decreased in frequency and intensity. However, I've noticed some side effects like dizziness and fatigue, which I've been managing by adjusting my daily routine. I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar experience or any tips on how to mitigate these side effects? I also read about some serious side effects to watch out for, so I wanted to start this thread for anyone who might be considering or currently taking Inderal LA.

I remember my doctor telling me that the 'LA' in Inderal LA means it's long-acting, so you usually take it only once a day. That's been a big plus for me. It's easier to remember to take it once a day than multiple times a day. I have the 60mg. Definitely talk to your doctor about the dosage though.

I've been on Inderal LA for hypertension and it’s been a lifesaver. However, I noticed I got really tired after starting the medication. My doctor suggested taking it at bedtime to help with the fatigue. Also, it’s important to monitor your blood pressure regularly. I use a home monitor and it’s been super handy.

I took Inderal LA for a bit, but I found that I just couldn't handle the side effects. The dizziness was so bad that I felt like I was walking around in a fog. I had to switch to another medication. Has anyone else had to do this?

My doctor told me to be on the lookout for any signs of lupus. I had no idea this could be a side effect! I thought it was all about heart rate and blood pressure. Anyone else know about this one?

This medication is a miracle. My migraines were so bad, I couldn't function. It's been a month and they’ve almost disappeared. Have to admit, I’ve experienced vivid dreams at night, but that’s a small price to pay vs. the pain I used to deal with. Anyone else had vivid dreams?

I had a bad reaction to Inderal LA – I ended up with hives and swelling. My doctor switched me to a different beta-blocker, and I'm doing much better. Just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else has similar issues.

Can anyone confirm if Inderal LA can cause erectile dysfunction? I've read about it but I'm hoping it's rare.

I've been taking it for a while now and it's helped a lot with my tremors. But I have to be careful with activities that require quick reactions, like driving, because of the fatigue. Anyone else deal with that?

I feel like I’m constantly checking my heart rate. I asked my doc if this is normal, but they said it’s all good. Has anyone else noticed a slower heart rate? I mean, I guess it makes sense since it’s a beta-blocker, but it's still weird to me.
