I've been using Indomethacin 50mg Rectal Suppositories for my gout flare-ups and it has been a lifesaver. The burning and tingling sensation usually kicks in within 30 minutes, and relief from inflammation and pain follows shortly after. While it isn't fun to insert suppositories, it's a small price to pay for the relief. However, I've had some pretty nasty side effects from time to time, ranging from constipation to rectal irritation. I keep a close eye on the dangers listed in the warning, but my insurance doesn't cover it, and I'm scared that I'm going to have to switch to something else. I've tried other NSAIDs, but nothing seems to work as well. Anyone else have concerns about side effects or want to share their experiences with Indomethacin?

I've heard you can get some serious side effects from these, but I haven't had any so far. Just a little rectal irritation, which isn't fun, but I can handle it. Has anyone experienced life-threatening side effects? I want to know what to expect.

I've been using Indomethacin for a while now, and while it does the job, I've had some serious issues with side effects. A couple of times I've had bloody stools, and it's really scary—definitely something to keep an eye on. I've had to switch to a different med because of it, too. I'm looking at alternatives for long-term use.

I've had some issues with stomach pain. The medical pamphlet says it can cause nausea or vomiting, and I want to know if anyone else has had this. I've also had some dizziness and fatigue, which I'm starting to worry about, too. I'm waiting for it to get better, but I'm scared that it'll get worse.

I've been using Indomethacin for my arthritis. I'm sleepless because of the pain at night, which is terrible. But I have to admit the relief in the morning is immediate. I have a low tolerance for side effects, so I try to avoid Indomethacin at all costs. It's definitely a life saver, though. But it's a terrifying process.
