I've been prescribed Indomethacin 75mg ER Capsules for my rheumatoid arthritis and I have to say, it's made a significant difference in managing my pain and inflammation. Has anyone else tried this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. I'm particularly curious about the long-term effects and any strategies for minimizing side effects. Also, how do you compare Indomethacin to other NSAIDs you've tried?

I've been on Indomethacin for a few months now, and it's been a lifesaver for my gout attacks. The extended-release capsules really help with the pain, especially at night. But I did experience some stomach issues at first. My doctor recommended taking it with food, which helped a lot.

Be careful with this stuff. I tried it for my osteoarthritis and ended up with some pretty bad stomach issues. The pain relief was good, but the side effects weren't worth it for me. Ended up switching to a different NSAID.

I've been taking Indomethacin for a while and I haven't had any major issues. Just the occasional headache or stomach upset, but nothing too bad.

I've noticed some people feel the side effects worse than others. Make sure to talk to your doctor about any concerns. Actually, NSAIDs can have a lot of side effects, but they're usually worth it for the pain relief.

I've seen a few people mention kidney issues. Does anyone know if this is something that happens frequently with long-term use?

I switched from ibuprofen to Indomethacin and it was a game-changer. The pain relief was much more effective, and I noticed less swelling in my joints. But I did have to be careful with my dosage. I started with a lower dose and gradually increased it under my doctor's supervision.
