I just started taking Ingrezza 60mg Sprinkle Capsules for tardive dyskinesia and I'm looking for advice from others who might have taken it. I find the drug helps with the involuntary movements, but my biggest concern are the side effects. Have others had any serious issues? What do I do if I experience any of the urgent side effects? I'm particularly worried about the symptoms similar to Parkinson's disease. I've also heard that it can cause neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS), which sounds terrifying. How common is that? Any tips on managing the side effects or should I just talk to my doctor if they're too bad? Any advice on how to work through this would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone had any success with other treatments?

I started having trouble moving and walking after a few weeks. I thought it was just getting worse but my doctor said it could be a side effect. I was a bit scared but luckily it went away after I stopped the medication. Make sure to keep an eye out for any changes in your movements.

I was on Ingrezza for a few months and it helped with my symptoms. I had some dizziness and trouble sleeping but nothing major. My doctor said those were common side effects. Just make sure to talk to your doctor if anything gets too bad. Plus, I found the Sprinkle Capsules were easy to take, but I had to adjust my diet a bit.

I had some weird stuff happen to my vision. It was just blurry for a bit but it went away. Make sure you know the side effects so you can tell if something is wrong.

Did you know Ingrezza can also help with involuntary movements associated with Huntington's? My aunt had it and it helped her a lot. Maybe it was just luck, but she could move around without so much pain.

I've seen Ingrezza work wonders, but it's not for everyone. My experience was good, but I've heard from others who had a harder time. It's always worth trying, but stay in close contact with your doctor. Depending on the person, it might not be the best option. I had to switch to a different drug because of some weird effects that never went away.

Neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) is rare but scary. Just make sure to keep your doctor in the loop if you experience muscle cramps or stiffness, fever, or anything else that feels off.

I've been on Ingrezza for about a year now and it's been a game-changer for my tardive dyskinesia. The side effects were rough at first—dry mouth and constipation were the worst—but they settled down after a few weeks. I drink lots of water and eat more high-fiber foods to help with that.

I don't know about all of you, but I would rather deal with a bit of constipation or dry mouth. The uncontrolled movements were terrible. My doctor said Ingrezza was one of the better options. I don't know how I would've managed without it.

Be careful with Ingrezza. I had a friend who ended up in the hospital with severe allergic reactions. It's rare, but it can happen. Make sure you know the signs and keep a close eye on yourself, especially at the beginning. If you experience any trouble breathing or swallowing, get help right away.

Who else feels like the ingredients list is a mile long? I can't pronounce half the stuff in there! Wish I could just take some magic pill without all the side effects.
