I recently started using Insulin Glarg-Yfgn 100u/ml Pen Inj for managing my Type 2 diabetes. It's been a bit of a journey, and I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. How has it worked for you? What side effects have you encountered? Any tips for making the transition easier? I've noticed some common side effects like irritation at the injection site and occasional headaches, but I'm also wary of the more serious side effects mentioned in the leaflet. Has anyone else experienced anything unusual, and how did you handle it? Also, does anyone know if there are any specific dietary changes or lifestyle adjustments I should consider to maximize the effectiveness of this insulin? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've had some flu-like symptoms and a common cold since starting. Not sure if it's related, but worth keeping an eye on.

I had some pretty bad headaches and joint pain when I started, but they went away after a couple of weeks. Just make sure to drink plenty of water and take it easy on yourself.

I switched to this from another long-acting insulin and was amazed at how much better my overall blood sugar control became. The key for me was to make sure I was taking it at the same time every day. Consistency is king with insulin.

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to manage low blood sugar episodes. Any tips on how to handle them quickly and effectively?

Has anyone else noticed weight gain? I've put on a few pounds since starting this, and I'm not sure if it's the insulin or just my diet. Any tips on managing weight while on this medication?

I had a severe allergic reaction to this insulin after my third injection. Rashes, hives, the works. I had to switch to a different type immediately. If you notice anything like that, get to a doctor ASAP. No joke.

I've been on Insulin Glarg-Yfgn for a few months now, and it's made a huge difference in my blood sugar control. I did experience some irritation at the injection site initially, but it subsided after a while. Just make sure to rotate your injection sites to avoid any irritation!

Be careful with the dosage! I accidentally took too much one day and ended up with a fast heartbeat and shakiness. It was scary, but I contacted my doctor right away. Always double-check your dose.

This insulin has been a game-changer for me. I used to wake up with high blood sugar levels, but now they're consistently normal. It's been a lifesaver.
