I've been using Insulin Glargine 100u/ml, 10ml for a few months now, and I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this long-acting insulin. How often do you experience side effects, and what do you do to manage them? I've heard mixed things about injection site reactions and low blood sugar episodes. I'd love to hear your personal experiences, tips, and any advice you have for someone new to this medication. It’s been a bit of a challenge getting used to the routine, but I’m hopeful that hearing from others can make the process smoother. Thanks in advance!

Dealing with neuropathy is a bitch, and insulin doesn’t make it any easier. Maybe it’s the insulin, maybe it’s the diabetes itself, but it’s hard to tell sometimes.

Low blood sugar is scary stuff. Even now, I feel a bit of anxiety every time I check my blood levels. Always keep those glucose tablets handy, folks. They can be a lifesaver.

So, how often do you test your blood sugar? I’ve been doing it multiple times a day, but sometimes I feel like it’s too much.

I switched to Insulin Glargine from another long-acting insulin, and the transition was tough. I had some severe headaches and muscle cramps, which I later found out were signs of low potassium. My doctor adjusted my potassium supplements, and it helped a lot. Keep an eye on those symptoms!
