I was prescribed Rasuvo (Methotrexate) for my severe rheumatoid arthritis, but I'm really nervous about the potential side effects. The list of urgent side effects is long and pretty scary. I've read that it's usually taken once a week to prevent serious side effects, but I'm still worried. Has anyone else had to deal with this? What was your experience like? Were the side effects as bad as they sound, or is it usually manageable? I'd love some reassurance or tips on how to handle it. I'm also curious about how often people experience these side effects. Are they rare, or do a lot of people end up dealing with them?

I've been on Methotrexate for a few months now, and while it has helped with my rheumatoid arthritis, the side effects are no joke. I've had some pretty bad stomach pain and dizziness, but I've also had some weird nerve sensations. Like pins and needles in my hands and feet. I've had to cut down on some of my activities because I just don't have the energy or sometimes, the balance. I'm hoping it gets better, though.

I've been on Methotrexate for a while now, and honestly, the side effects have been manageable. I take it once a week as prescribed, and while I do experience some fatigue and stomach pain, it's not unbearable. I make sure to stay hydrated and eat well, which helps a lot. The really scary side effects? I haven't experienced any of those, thankfully. But everyone's different, so it's important to stay vigilant and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

I had a friend who had to go to the hospital because of Methotrexate. It's scary stuff. I don't know why they don't make more drugs with the same effect but no side effects.

The only way to deal with Methotrexate is to stay in touch with your doctor. There is no other way. You need to be in constant communication with your doctor to manage the side effects properly. Make sure to report anything serious and don't wait for things to get too serious.

I'm on the same boat. I was prescribed Methotrexate for my psoriasis and the side effects do suck, but they are manageable. I've had some nausea and dizziness, but nothing too bad. Just stay in touch with your doctor and report any issues you have.

Has anyone tried any natural remedies to help with the side effects? I've heard turmeric is good for inflammation, but I don't know if it's safe to take with Methotrexate.
