For some time, I have struggled with sensitive teeth. Regular toothpaste just doesn't cut it and the mint flavor is a no go. Denta 5000 Plus Sensitive Paste claims to relieve tooth sensitivity and prevent cavities. It contains Sodium Fluoride to strengthen tooth enamel and Potassium Nitrate to calm nerve pain. However, the possible side effects are concerning. Has anyone else tried it? What were the results? Weigh in on the pros and cons, side effects and your personal experiences.

Anyone know if it's safe for kids? My little one has really sensitive teeth and I'm not sure what to do.

I've had good experiences with it, but I make sure to report any side effects to the FDA. We need more data on these things.

Denta 5000 works super well for me. I have no sensitivity issues, even when drinking ice water. Just brush in soft circular motions, not a scrubbing motion. It's gentler on your teeth and gums and feels like brushing with silk

Denta 5000 has a nice flavor. Great tip below mentioned that you should brush in soft circular motions, not a scrubbing motion. It's gentler on your teeth and gums and feels like brushing with silk

it actually can be used on kids, but make sure you get the right formulation and have your child brush just their front teeth. It is not recommended for kids under 2 years old though.
