I've been struggling with acne and rosacea for years, and my dermatologist recently prescribed Sodium Sulf 10%-Sulfur 5% Cleanser. It contains sulfur and sulfacetamide, which are supposed to help reduce bacteria, inflammation, and shed dead skin cells. I've read about some serious side effects, so I'm a bit hesitant to start using it. Has anyone else tried this cleanser? What were your experiences with it? Were the side effects manageable, or did you encounter any serious issues? Any tips on how to use it effectively would be greatly appreciated!

It works well, but it stinks! I can't stand the smell.

It really helped with my acne, but I had some dryness and itching at first. I started using a gentle moisturizer and it helped a lot.

I've been using it for a month now and it's actually working really well for me. Just be sure to use it exactly as prescribed by your doctor and give it some time to work.

I had some concern about the serious side effects mentioned, but my doctor assured me that they are rare. I've been using it for a month and haven't experienced anything serious so far, just a bit of dryness.

I've been using this for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my rosacea. The redness has significantly reduced, and my skin feels much clearer. Just be cautious with the application; don’t overdo it and don’t forget to moisturize afterward – it can be a bit drying. The smell is a bit off-putting, but it’s worth it for the results.

I think it's worth trying if you have severe acne or rosacea. Just make sure to monitor your skin closely for any adverse reactions. And if you do get those serious side effects, go to the doctor immediately.

I've been using this for a few weeks now and I can't see any significant improvement in my acne. It's a bit discouraging because I was really hoping it would work. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I think it's too harsh for sensitive skin. I had to switch to a gentler cleanser.
