I was recently diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) and my neurologist recommended Tecfidera (dimethyl fumarate) 240mg Capsules. I know it can help reduce relapses and protect nerve cells, but I'm nervous about the side effects. Has anyone here taken Tecfidera? What was your experience like? Did you have any severe side effects? I've heard about things like flushing, stomach issues, and even more serious ones like liver problems or PML. I'd really appreciate some insights before I make a decision. Thanks!

PML is rare, but it's a real concern. Make sure you're aware of the symptoms and talk to your doctor regularly. Don't ignore any unusual symptoms – better safe than sorry.

I've been on Tecfidera for a few months now, and while the flushing was bad at first, it's much better now. I did have some stomach issues, but my doctor helped me manage them with some changes to my diet. Overall, I think it's worth it for the reduction in relapses.

I've heard mixed reviews about Tecfidera. Some people love it; some people hate it. Just make sure you talk to your doctor about all the potential side effects and what to do if you experience them. Safety first!

I've been on Tecfidera for about 2 years now. The flushing was rough at first, but it went away after a few months. I do get some stomach issues occasionally, but nothing I can't manage.

Tecfidera has been a game-changer for me. My relapses have decreased significantly, and the side effects were manageable. Just be prepared for the initial flushing – it's not fun, but it's temporary.

I'd be cautious. My friend ended up with PML after being on Tecfidera for a while. It was devastating, and I don't think it's worth the risk. Talk to your doctor about all possible side effects and warning signs.
