Please share your experiences about Vaxelis Inj, 0.5ml. Vaxelis is another vaccine given to babies to protect them from serious diseases: Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough), Hepatitis B, Polio, and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib). But are the side effects manageable and is it safe for all children? What's been your experience with it?

I had a different experience. My child had a severe reaction to Vaxelis. It was scary, but the doctors handled it well. It's important to be vigilant and know the signs of a severe reaction.

I've had both my kids vaccinated with Vaxelis and they've been fine. A little fever and irritability but nothing severe.

Really? That's scary. What kind of reaction did your child have? I'm glad you got help in time.

You're not alone on the insurance issue. Make sure to talk to your pediatrician. They usually have a process to help with insurance coverage.

Has anyone had issues with insurance covering this vaccine? I'm having a hard time getting it approved.

I had a really hard time finding information about this vaccine. It's not as commonly discussed as others but it's super important. It protects against six serious diseases. One of the most comprehensive vaccines out there.

I think it's important to report any side effects, no matter how mild, to the VAERS. It helps them track patterns and improve vaccines.

I can't understand why some people are so against vaccines. Vaxelis has been a lifesaver for many children. It protects them from so many diseases and the side effects are manageable.

I'm not a doctor, but from what I've read, the rare severe side effects are usually due to an allergic reaction. It's important to know the signs and act quickly if you see them.

My pediatrician assured me that the side effects are usually mild and temporary. But I still worry sometimes. My baby had a high fever after the first dose, but it went down with some medication and rest.
