I've been prescribed Tusnel Diabetic Liquid to manage my cough and chest congestion, and I've been curious about the effectiveness of this medication. Tusnel is a combination of Guaifenesin and Dextromethorphan, which is supposed to thinning mucus and reducing the urge to cough. The potential side effects are a concern, though. Has anyone used this medication? It seems that it is useful, but I am skeptical about how effective it will be. I would love to hear some personal experiences or any other medications that you feel work better. What are your thoughts on Tusnel vs other medications? Thanks!

Anyone else notice that it tastes awful? I can't get past the taste.

Tusnel worked for me, but I had to stop using it because of the dizziness. Guaifenesin alone might be worth trying for some.

I tried it once and felt terrible. Stomach issues all day. Not worth it.

I report side effects to the FDA whenever I have to. They take it seriously. You should all do the same.

Tusnel Diabetic Liquid is a lifesaver when you're really congested but be careful it’s applicable for diabetics. My pharmacist gave me some good advice to take either the capsule or liquid version based on my symptoms. Try to be aware of what you're getting to be 100 percent sure it's the right stuff. If you're not sure you should do some research or consult your doctor.
