I've been prescribed Isoniazid 100mg Tablets to treat tuberculosis and I'm wondering if anyone else has taken this medication and can share their experiences, especially regarding the side effects. Has anyone had issues with this medication and alcohol?
I had a really weird side effect that wasn't on the list. I started getting these strange skin sores, and my doctor diagnosed me with a severe skin reaction. It was a nightmare. I had to discontinue the medication and it took a long time to recover. I hope you don't experience anything like that. Always talk to your doctor about any adverse effects and trust your instincts. If you feel something isn't right, it probably isn't.
Who else is just worried about the frequent urination side effect? Can't be that fun!
I've heard that some people have pretty severe reactions to this drug, so definitely talk to your doctor about any issues you have. I had a friend who had a lot of issues.
I think that's a very scary list of side effects, I would be worried taking that!
I'm on month 3 of my 9 month treatment plan with this medication. I had some severe stomach pain at the beginning, but it's mostly under control now. I found that eating smaller, more frequent meals helps a lot. I also carry around Tums, and they really help when I need them.
