I've been prescribed Isordil Titradose 40mg Tablets for angina, and while they seem to work well in preventing chest pain, I've been experiencing some side effects. Has anyone else had issues with headaches or dizziness? I've heard these can improve over time, but I'm just curious if there are any tips or tricks to manage them better. Also, I've been worried about the more serious side effects like allergic reactions or abnormal heart rhythms. Has anyone had any experiences with these? I'm curious to know if there are any other precautions I should be taking beyond what my doctor has advised. I've also been considering reporting any side effects I continue to experience to the FDA, but I want to make sure I have a clear understanding of this process. Any advice would be appreciated!

I was really nervous about the side effects, especially the allergic reactions. I made sure to keep a close eye on any new symptoms, and luckily, I never experienced more than mild dizziness. Just make sure your doctor is aware of any changes and remember, it's always better to be cautious.

I had a similar experience with the headaches. I tried to tough it out, but after a few days, I couldn't take it anymore and talked to my cardiologist. She suggested trying to stay hydrated and that helped a lot. I also found that taking the medication with food helped reduce the severity of the headaches.

I'm glad I found this thread. I'm considering taking Isordil for my angina but I've been super nervous about the side effects. It's reassuring to see that many people have had positive experiences, but I'll definitely speak to my doctor about any potential issues. Thanks everyone!

I’ve been on Isordil for a couple of months and the only side effect I've had is mild dizziness, which goes away quickly. However, I've had a couple of friends who experienced more severe side effects. They reported dizziness which made them light-headed to the point where they had trouble standing. Thankfully, their doctors adjusted their dosages and they felt much better. So, if you are having issues, it might be worth talking to your doc.

I've been on Isordil for a while, but I haven't experienced any major side effects. Just mild headaches at the start, but they went away after a few days.

Be careful with these meds. I had a friend who ended up in the ER because of severe allergic reactions. It was scary, but luckily, he got the treatment he needed. Sounds like a good idea to report it if you experience something like that. Here's the site: https://www.fda.gov/medwatch.

This is a great thread. Would love to hear what other people are experiencing with these meds. My dad has been on them for a while but he swears by how well they work. We should stick together and share what we find!
