I've been prescribed Isoso/hydral 20mg-37.5mg Tablets for my heart failure, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experience with this medication? I'm particularly interested in hearing from African American patients who are taking it. This drug is a combo of isosorbide dinitrate and hydralazine, which seems to help a lot of people. But I need to know more about the serious side effects, like lupus and allergic reactions. I am also curious about the other side effects like headaches and how the drug interacts with other medication. The doctor did not give me much info on this, so if anyone can share their personal experiences or useful resources, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, what should I do if I experience side effects? Some people don't understand the importance of discussing side effects with their doctors, but it really can make a big difference!

I've been on this med for a while and it's been a game-changer. Sure, I get headaches sometimes, but the improvement in my heart function is worth it. Just make sure to talk to your doc if you experience anything serious, like a rash or fever.

I get really bad stomach issues, headaches, and also dizziness. The only way I can deal with them is by taking the med with a good meal and keeping hydrated. It's worth it for me, though. I'd rather deal with some discomfort than have a heart attack.

Remember, everyone's experience is different. While some people might have a tough time with side effects, others might not notice any. It's important to listen to your body and talk to your doctor if something doesn't feel right. I'm glad this medication is working for me, but I know it's not the same for everyone.

I had a bad experience with Isoso/hydral because I had such bad headaches and really bad stomach issues. I had to switch to another medication, but I know a lot of other people who have had a good experience with it. It really depends on your body, I think.

I've been taking this drug for a while and I've had lots of trouble with headaches and fatigue. I wish there was more info on how to deal with these side effects because it’s been tough. I’ve been considering switching to another medication, but I don't know if it will be as effective.
