I've been prescribed Isosorbide Mononitrate 10mg Tabs to manage my angina. The doctor said it relaxes blood vessels to improve blood flow to the heart. But the side effects list is terrifying—especially the severe ones like allergic reactions and chest pain. Anyone else on this med? How do you deal with the potential side effects? I'm really nervous about starting this treatment.

I had severe dizziness and fainting spells. Had to stop taking it. Not worth the risk for me. Talk to your doctor about alternatives.

I can't believe how scary the side effects are. I would probably just stay away from this one.

I have to admit, the side effects are scary, but this medication has been a lifesaver for me. I can't think of any good way to manage the headaches, but the relief from my chest pain is worth it.

I got some really bad headaches at the start, but after a couple of weeks they went away on their own. It's worth hanging in there if you can.

This medication is fantastic for managing angina. Don't let the side effects scare you off—just be vigilant and report anything unusual to your doctor right away.

I've been on Isosorbide Mononitrate for a few months now. The headaches were tough at first, but they got better. Just make sure to talk to your doctor about managing side effects.

Be careful with this one. I had a friend who had a bad reaction to it. Make sure you're in a safe place when you first take it.
