I've been on Isosorbide Mononitrate 20mg Tabs for a few months now, and I've noticed that it's been pretty effective in managing my chest pain. The medication works by relaxing blood vessels, which helps more blood and oxygen reach my heart. However, I've experienced some side effects, particularly headaches, which have been pretty common. My doctor said they should improve over time, so I'm hoping that's the case. I've also had some minor dizziness, but nothing too severe so far. How has this medication worked for others? Have you experienced any unusual side effects?

This thread was really helpful. I'm just starting this medication and was really scared. I'll be sure to stick with it and follow up with my doctor.

It's been a game-changer for me. Since I started taking this, I rarely have chest pains and I can even exercise a bit. Just be sure to talk to your doctor about any side effects that worry you.

Do you guys really think it's worth it to put up with these side effects? I'm just not sure if it's right for me.

I started experiencing severe dizziness and some abnormal heartbeats when I first started taking Isosorbide Mononitrate. I had to seek immediate medical attention. I've been on a lower dose since and it's been much better. Be cautious.

I've been having headaches really bad since starting this medication, but I don't know if it's worth it or not.

I've been on Isosorbide Mononitrate for a while as well. I had my dosage adjusted and it was a game-changer, however, I just started experiencing some dizziness. The headaches were a problem at first, but they have started to go away as my body gets used to the medication. Definitely stick with it, I think it's worth the effort.

I've been on Isosorbide Mononitrate for a while now and I think it's been a lifesaver. It has helped me manage my angina so well that I can actually enjoy life again. The side effects were mild for me and totally worth it. I have had a few times where I needed to call for help, but it's usually just a matter of adjusting my dosage
