I was prescribed Isosorbide Mononitrate 30mg ER Tabs to manage my angina. It's been effective in preventing chest pain, but I've experienced some side effects. Has anyone else had issues with dizziness or headaches? How did you manage them? also, what are other possible side effects and how to deal them? Has anyone experienced any urgent side effects? For those who have been on this medication for a while, how has your experience been overall? Any tips on managing the side effects would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard that some people experience severe side effects like abnormal heartbeat or new chest pain. Those are serious and need immediate medical attention so don't skip it!

How often do you guys take your medication? Pills can be really expensive! Does anyone have tips for dealing with the cost?

This medication saved my life. I had a severe allergic reaction after taking the first dose and HAD TO go to the emergency room. Turns out I was allergic to one of the inactive ingredients. So I had to go on a different medication. It's worth being aware of the potential for severe reactions, especially if you have any known allergies.

I've been on Isosorbide Mononitrate for about six months now, and it has significantly reduced my angina attacks. The headaches were initially bad, but they've subsided over time. I take the medication with food, and that seems to help with the dizziness. I'd also recommend talking to your doctor about adjusting the timing of your doses to see if that helps.

I've been taking Isosorbide Mononitrate for about a year now. It's been a game-changer for managing my angina. I've had a few headaches, but nothing too severe. I've also noticed some flushing of the skin, which is a common side effect. Also, it seems to take effect pretty quickly, so if you feel an attack coming on, taking it before it starts can prevent it from happening. Has anyone else noticed that?
