I've recently been prescribed Isosorbide Mononitrate 60mg ER Tabs to manage my angina, and I'm curious about other people's experiences with this medication. How has it helped or affected you? Any tips or precautions I should know about that aren't listed in the patient information leaflet? I'd love to hear your stories or any advice you have. Is it normal that I feel headaches? I also want to know more about potential side effects. How do I tell if my chest pain is actually getting worse?

I've been on this medication for a few months now, and honestly, it's been a nightmare. Constant headaches and dizziness. I'm not sure if it's worth it at this point, but my doctor says I should give it more time. Has anyone else had such bad side effects?

It definitely releases slowly, so you should notice a steady effect.

I had a bit of a scare with the dizziness. I felt like I couldn't even walk around my house without feeling woozy. It's really important to be cautious and make sure you're not doing anything that requires you to be alert. I'm better now, but it took some time. Thankfully, Isosorbide Mononitrate does what it's supposed to, and my heart feels stable.

I remember when I first started, I had some pretty bad headaches for about two weeks. My doctor told me that this can happen, but after a while, it started to get better. If you're feeling them too, don't worry too much but keep an eye on it. If it gets worse, then reach out to your doctor.

I've experienced this type of medication and it really works, but you must take it as prescribed. I mean, seriously, don't just stop taking it because you feel better.
