As someone who has been on Isotretinoin, I can tell you that the side effects are rough, but the results can be amazing. I had severe acne for years, and nothing worked until I tried this. It's definitely worth a shot if you're desperate. But yeah, make sure to take it seriously and don’t miss a dose.
Your heart and liver are going to be strained. I had heart palpitations and chest pain from this stuff. I stopped taking it and my symptoms went away right away. Ask your doc about this beforehand; it might be worth it but want to be aware.
I know a few people who've taken it and had great results. But yeah, the side effects can be pretty nasty. Don't forget to moisturize like crazy and use lots of lip balm. Also, stay out of the sun if you can. Use sunscreen, like SPF 50+.
