I was recently prescribed Isturisa 5mg Tablets to manage my Cushing's disease. It's been a tough journey since surgery isn't an option for me. The medication helps lower my cortisol levels, but I'm curious about others' experiences with side effects. I noticed some hair growth and acne, but I'm hoping these are temporary. Has anyone else dealt with these issues, and if so, how did you manage? Also, the list of urgent side effects is quite daunting. I want to be prepared, but I'm not sure what to expect. Has anyone had to deal with any of the serious side effects listed? How did your doctor handle it? Please share your stories or tips to help newbies.

I find that Ibuprofen doesn't cut out the headaches caused by Isturisa and they can be quite debilitating.

I had a urinary tract infection a few months after starting Isturisa. It was scary at first because I didn't know if it was a side effect or not, but my doctor clarified it was just a regular UTI

I've been on Isturisa for about 6 months now, and while it's helped with my cortisol levels, I've had some pretty bad headaches and stomach issues. My doctor suggested taking it with food, but it's been hit or miss.

I've been on Isturisa for a year now, and while it's not been a walk in the park, I've managed the side effects pretty well. I had some hair growth on my face, which was annoying, but my dermatologist recommended a good skincare routine and some topical treatments. Also, the depression was tough, but therapy and exercise have helped a lot. It's a balancing act, but it's manageable.

I wish there was more info out there about the side effects of Isturisa. It's tough navigating this on your own. Thanks for sharing your experiences, everyone. It's helpful to know we're not alone.

Keeping a food diary helped me identify what foods trigger my upset stomach and vomiting, so I can avoid them now.

I started Isturisa a few weeks ago and have been dealing with some serious fatigue. It's like I can't shake this exhaustion even though I'm getting enough sleep. Has anyone else experienced this?
