Itraconazole 100mg Capsules: My Experience and Potential Side Effects
I was recently prescribed Itraconazole 100mg Capsules to treat a fungal infection in my lungs. The medication has been effective, but I'm curious about the side effects that others might have experienced. During my research, I've read about a variety of urgent and typical side effects. I've been lucky and avoided most of the serious side effects like severe allergic reactions and electrolyte issues. However, I've been experiencing some dizziness and mild stomach pain and wondered if anyone else has had similar issues. Reading reports about severe and potentially life-threatening side effects has me a bit worried, and I'm unsure if every side effect listed is common for everyone. How many of you are taking this drug and have noticed any of these side effects? Is there a way to prevent or mitigate the mild side effects? Has anyone had severe issues and is it worth abandoning the medication? Also, does the severity and frequency of side effects vary by the length of use? Are there any long-term side effects to be aware of? If you've had similar experiences, I'd love to hear about it and any tips you might have. I'm also curious about what people do to help relieve the side effects they face. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I had some dizziness too. Make sure to get up slowly from sitting or lying down. It helped me a lot.
I've heard some scary stories about the liver problems. If you start feeling really sick, don't wait to see a doctor. It could save your life.
I had some really bad heartburn. It was so bad I was concerned if it was a sign of a more serious issue. Some antacids helped, though.
I've been on Itraconazole for a few weeks now, and I've had some mild nausea, but nothing too bad. Just make sure to take it with food and you should be fine!
Don't forget to monitor your blood sugar if you're diabetic. Itraconazole can mess with your levels pretty badly.
I had some pretty bad headaches when I started taking it, but they went away after a week or so. Stick it out if you can, it's worth it to get rid of the infection.
I took this for a nail fungus and had no side effects at all. Maybe you're just sensitive to it?
I've been on it for months and haven't had any issues. Maybe you're just having a bad reaction to it?
I had a weird tingling sensation in my feet for a few days. It went away on its own, but it was pretty alarming at first.
I got hives and had to stop taking it. Not worth the risk for me, but everyone's different.
