Hi all, I was recently prescribed Arimidex (Anastrozole) 1mg Tablets for my breast cancer treatment. I've heard mixed reviews about Arimidex. Some people say it's a lifesaver, while others had awful side effects. Keep a diary of how you're feeling. It might help your doctor adjust your treatment if needed.
Watch out for joint pain – that was a game-changer for me. I ended up switching to another medication because of it.
I had a really rough time with Arimidex. The joint pain and fatigue were unbearable. My doctor switched me to a different drug, and I feel much better now. It's important to communicate with your doctor if you're having a hard time.
I took Arimidex for a few years. Hot flashes were tough, but manageable. Stay hydrated and layer your clothes!
