I've been prescribed Fluocinonide 0.05% Soln 60ml for eczema. Has anyone else used this? Here's what I've learned so far.
I've recently been prescribed Fluocinonide 0.05% Solution for my eczema, and I must say, I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. This stuff is a steroid, and I've read that it can have some serious side effects if not used correctly. I'm applying it as directed, but I'm still worried about things like skin thinning, Cushing's syndrome, or even a weak adrenal gland. I've also heard that you can get a lot of minor stuff like dry skin or itching. I'd love to hear from anyone who has used this before – what was your experience like? Did you have any side effects? Any tips on managing them would be great too.

I used it for a few days and didn't really notice any side effects at all. Just be careful, watch your skin and if you have any problems stop using it and go see a doctor.
Side effects are real, especially if you use it too often. I had to stop using it for a while because of the skin thinning. It really sucks.
I've used Fluocinonide before for psoriasis. It worked like a charm, but I did notice some skin thinning after a few weeks. Make sure to use it sparingly and not for longer than prescribed.
I was using it for a few months, and it worked well for me. I never got any side effects, but I was using it strictly as the doc told me to and not more than that. Also, it was only for a few months, not years. If you find it's not working, talk to your doctor about changing it up.
Gives me the creeps. I'd rather deal with the eczema than risk getting Cushing's syndrome. It's a nightmare.
This is some serious stuff. Make sure to follow the instructions to the letter.
I've seen people use this for a long time and be fine. It's all about moderation, tbh. Don't overdo it and you should be fine.
I can tell you from personal experience, this stuff is not to be messed with. I got a rash and went to the doctor, they gave me this and I got much much worse symptoms, confused, drowsy, I went to the hospital. They told me to stop using it right away. It's seriously strong so be careful, never applied too much.
I've had a lot of weird symptoms and reactions from topical steroids. I think it's different for everyone.
Did your doctor explain the risks, like Cushing's syndrome. I've heard of this happening, it's scary. Because of that, I would not use this unless I have to.
