I was recently prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 T. My doctor told me it is a combination of two pain relievers: hydrocodone, which is a strong opioid, and acetaminophen. I have been experiencing moderate to severe pain and this is supposed to help. I am concerned about the potential side effects, especially since this medication contains an opioid. I've read that it can be habit-forming, which worries me. Has anyone else taken this medication? What are the most common side effects? What should I be watching out for? I want to be prepared and make sure I'm using it safely.

Serotonin syndrome is a big concern if you're taking any other medication like antidepressants. It can be life-threatening. Just be careful and inform your doctor about all the medications you're taking.

Just be careful and follow your doctor's instructions. I took this for a while and it was fine, but I know people who had bad experiences. Stay safe.

I had horrible stomach issues and felt like I couldn't breathe right. It was awful.

I had to take this after a car accident, and it helped me manage the pain, but it was really hard to wake up. I still felt groggy in the morning! Plus all the trips to the restroom.

Definitely be aware of the signs of an allergic reaction. I had a friend who ended up in the ER with hives and trouble breathing. Scary stuff.

I've taken this before after a surgery. The constipation was brutal, but other than that, it helped with the pain. Just stay hydrated and keep an eye on your liver function since acetaminophen can be hard on it.

Keep in mind that this drug can cause mood changes. I felt really down and anxious the whole time I was on it. Might want to talk to your doctor if you experience anything like that.

Opioids are no joke. Make sure you're taking it exactly as prescribed and don't increase your dose without talking to your doctor. Also, don't drive or operate heavy machinery while taking it. One time I accidentally fell asleep at my desk at work. It was not good.

I feel like I was always tired and I had trouble walking. Also I had a really hard time using the bathroom. I was glad to be off the medication.
