I've been prescribed Methylprednisolone 16mg Tablets for my arthritis. What can I expect?
I've recently been prescribed Methylprednisolone 16mg Tablets to manage my arthritis symptoms. My doctor mentioned that it's a steroid and will help reduce inflammation and calm down my overactive immune system but didn't go into much detail. I've heard mixed things from friends and family, so I'd love to know what I can expect. I'm particularly interested in what side effects I might experience and how to manage them. Also, does anyone have any tips on how to track my progress and know if this treatment is working for me? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I wish I could help, but I've never heard of it. Guess it's time to google!
I had a friend who was on this stuff, and it gave her insane acne. But she could barely walk before she started taking it and it helped a lot. It might be worth it, depending on your symptoms.
My mom was on this for a while and she had pretty bad mood swings. It might be worth mentioning that to your doctor, so you can both keep an eye on it.
Have you looked into any natural supplements that might help with inflammation? I know some people swear by turmeric and ginger.
