I've just been prescribed Quinapril 10mg Tablets by my doctor to manage my high blood pressure. I'm a bit nervous because I’ve heard about some potential side effects. Has anyone here had experience with this medication? What should I expect, and how can I manage any side effects that might come up? Also, does anyone know if there are any lifestyle changes I can make to complement this medication? I’m really hoping to get my blood pressure under control without too many issues.

Be aware of the severe side effects, such as liver problems, infections, and high potassium levels. If you notice any of these, seek medical attention immediately.

My mom was on Quinapril and had a persistent cough. It was annoying, but her doctor said it's a known side effect. She switched to a different ACE inhibitor and the cough went away.

I had Quinapril prescribed to me as well, and honestly, I’ve had no issues with it. Just make sure you follow the dosing schedule strictly and keep an eye out for any allergic reactions. They can be rare but severe.

I've been on Quinapril for years, and it's been a game-changer for my blood pressure. I did have some minor dizziness at first, but it went away after a few days. Just be cautious and stay in touch with your doctor.

I started Quinapril and within a week, I felt a lot better. My blood pressure was well controlled, and I didn't experience any major side effects. Just make sure to stay hydrated and avoid excessive salt intake to help with the medication’s effectiveness.

I've heard that this med can cause some pretty nasty side effects. I'd keep a close eye on any changes and talk to your doctor if anything seems off.

I've been on Quinapril for a few months now. It's helped my blood pressure a lot, but I did experience some dizziness at first. My doctor said it's common and should go away with time, and it did. Just be careful when you stand up, and if it gets bad, talk to your doctor.

I'm glad I found this thread. I was prescribed Quinapril too, and I'm worried about side effects. This gives me a good idea of what to expect. Thanks, everyone!
