I've been struggling with heartburn lately and decided to give Calcium Carb 500mg Chewable Tablets a try. They seem to be working well for relieving the discomfort, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. The package insert lists some serious allergic reactions like hives and trouble breathing, which is pretty scary. I've also heard that constipation can be a common issue. Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects? How did you handle them? I'd appreciate any advice or personal experiences from people who've used this medication.

I tried these for a few weeks, but the constipation was too much for me. I switched to a different antacid and it was much easier on my system.

I've been taking these for my calcium supplement and I’ve noticed they work really well for that too. Just make sure to keep an eye on the dosage—too much can cause issues.

I've only had a few tablets and already feel better, but I will watch out for the side effects.

I couldn't take Calcium Carb. the tablets because they gave me such bad heartburn. I switched to something else.

If you have any other health issues, you should probably talk to your doctor about this medication. I know some people have bad reactions to it.

I had a friend who had a bad reaction to these tablets. They ended up in the ER with swelling in their throat. It was pretty scary.

I'm surprised more people don't talk about the constipation. At first I didn't think it was from the pills, but cutting them out cleared up my problem.
