I've started using Alphagan P eye drops. Are your experiences similar?
I've been using Alphagan P 0.1% Ophth Soln 15ml for a few weeks now to manage my glaucoma. The eye drops seem effective, but I've noticed some side effects that I want to discuss. Has anyone else dealt with burning sensations or blurred vision? Are these side effects temporary, or should I talk to my doctor? Also, I've heard about rare but serious side effects. How can we stay vigilant without panicking? I'd love to hear from people who've been on this medication longer and how it's helped them.

I think this stuff is saving my vision, but it causes headaches. Has anyone found a way to manage this?
I've had no issues so far, but it’s only been a month. Fingers crossed it stays that way. This thread is helpful, though. I'm glad I'm not alone in this.
I've been on Alphagan P for a year now. The initial burning sensation went away after a few days. Mine is completely manageable. I've avoided more serious side effects by telling my doctor at once if anything feels off.
I hope you check your blood pressure regularly. My doctor suggested this and wow I'm glad I did, it was spiked. It's a bit scary but manageable.
I wish I could say the same. I had blistering skin and went to the ER right away. Doctors said it's rare but possible. I switched to another medication after that.
