Ixinity is a lifesaver for many of us with hemophilia B, but it's not without its challenges. I've been on Ixinity for about a year now, and while it's managed my bleeds well, I've had some side effects that have been a bit concerning. Has anyone else experienced issues like sudden weight gain or changes in urine output? I'm curious to hear about others' experiences and any tips for managing these potential side effects. Additionally, how do you handle the injection site pain and discomfort? I’ve tried different techniques, but it’s still a bit challenging. Would love to know what works for everyone else. I've also noticed a few other minor side effects like headache and upset stomach, but they've been manageable. If anyone has insights or advice, please share!

I switched to Ixinity from another factor IX product because of better coverage and lower cost. The switch was very smooth and the efficacy was on point. Having said that, I've noticed a couple of things: itching around the injection site and a bit of fatigue after the infusion. Nothing too serious, but it's there. It's all about balancing the benefits and the side effects. If anyone has any tips to reduce these, do share!

You know what? Injecting Ixinity is far easier when you drink a glass of wine beforehand. Just kidding. Sort of. The injection itself is easy, but it feels uncomfortable afterward if I don't ice the area.

Don’t forget to report any unusual side effects to your doctor and the FDA. It’s important for them to track these things so they can improve the medication and dosage for future patients. I had a bit of numbness in my fingers once after an infusion, and my doctor was able to adjust my dosage to help mitigate that.

Weight gain was my biggest issue. It was weird how suddenly it started, and it’s also weird how it sticks around. It’s manageable but still a bit alarming. Have any of you noticed that it goes away once you stop using Ixinity?

I just started Ixinity last month, and I been getting a rash and itching around the injection site. Is this normal? I've read a few posts but not sure if it’s just a minor irritation or something more serious. Hoping someone can give me some insight or advice!

I’ve been using Ixinity for years and have had a pretty good experience overall. The injection site pain can be managed with a bit of ice before and after the injection. It’s a pain, literally and figuratively, but it’s worth it for the control it gives me over my bleeds.

Has anyone else noticed any changes in their vision or had any issues with their hair falling out? I’ve heard from a few people that these side effects can happen, but I haven’t found much online about it. Would be great to know if anyone else has experienced this or if it’s just a rare occurrence.

I've had dizziness and fainting a couple of times, so I always make sure to sit down and take it easy after the injection. It’s annoying but manageable. Has anyone else dealt with this? It’s a bit of a rollercoaster with the side effects, but it’s worth it to have the control over my bleeds.

Anyone else experienced changes in your urine output? Mine seems to fluctuate a lot and it’s concerning. Sometimes it feels like I can’t pass any urine, but other times it’s normal. Need advice on how to handle this.
