I've been prescribed Jantoven 10mg (Warfarin) to prevent blood clots, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I've read that it can cause severe allergic reactions, neurological issues, and even skin tissue death. Has anyone else had serious side effects while taking this medication? I'd love to hear your experiences and any tips you might have for managing this. Also, for those with kidney problems, how have you handled taking this medication? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, yes. It can cause a condition called skin necrosis. It's rare but serious. Make sure to report any unusual skin changes to your doctor right away.

I take Jantoven for a heart condition. I've had no issues at all. I drink a lot of water and avoid leafy greens.

I think I'll go for a walk. I’m so tired from reading all this.

I haven't had any serious side effects, but I had a friend who got really sick and had to stop taking it. It's definitely a medication you need to be careful with. Make sure you're communicating regularly with your doctor and getting blood tests when needed.

I just started taking it and I'm feeling a bit anxious. I've heard it can cause skin tissue death. Is that really a thing?

I switched to a different blood thinner because the side effects of Warfarin were too much for me. If you're really struggling, talk to your doctor about other options.
