I recently started hearing about Jelmyto 40mg Injection as a treatment for upper urinary tract cancer. It's a special gel containing mitomycin that's inserted directly into the kidney and ureter to help kill cancer cells. Has anyone here had experience with this treatment? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Specifically, I'm curious about the side effects and the overall impact on daily life. How does it compare to other treatments? Are there any tips or tricks for managing side effects? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I started Jelmyto a few months ago, and it's been a rollercoaster. The first few weeks were tough with stomach pain and feeling super tired, but my doctor said that's normal. I'm still dealing with some side effects, but my urologist says it's worth it if it fights the cancer.

I've heard that kidney problems are a serious issue with this treatment. Has anyone had to deal with that? I'm really nervous about that possibility.

I've heard some people say that Jelmyto is a game-changer, but others have had terrible experiences. I think it really depends on the individual. If you're considering it, make sure to talk to your doctor about all the potential side effects and how to manage them.

I've been on Jelmyto for about 6 months now. The side effects were tough at first, especially the frequent UTIs, but my doctor helped me manage them. For anyone starting this treatment, make sure you have a good support system in place. I got a urologist who specializes in this and it helped a lot. Also, drink lots of water—it really helps with the side effects.
