I had to drink this stuff for my colonoscopy. It was awful, but it got the job done. I didn't have any side effects, thankfully.
Did anyone else get weird side effects? I had some weird redness on my skin but it cleared up. I’m not sure if it was the medicine or just coincidence.
You know, I had the radiologist mix it with some clear soda, that cut the awful taste a bit, but still a bit of a shame. I didn't have any side effects. I had the exact scan because of a stomach pain and I will talk to my doctor if the same pain continues, as it could be an indication of a severe bowel problem.
If anyone has tips for getting through the drink without gagging, I'm all ears. I've got a scan coming up and I'm dreading it.
