Just finished my course of Cephalexin 250mg Tablets. Anyone else experience severe side effects?
I was prescribed Cephalexin 250mg Tablets for a urinary tract infection and just finished my course. I didn't have any major side effects, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced anything serious. The nurse practitioner who prescribed it mentioned it was a common antibiotic and didn't seem to worry about side effects. They told me to stop taking it and call my doctor if I got a bad rash, but I didn't see any mention of that in the patient pamphlet. Should I be worried? Are there any other side effects I should watch out for? Thanks for any insights!

I had diarrhea like you wouldn't believe. I mean, I could see the phantom toilet across the room and have a near out of body experience because it knew before I did. I laugh about it now, but it was a horrible time.
I had a lot of nausea and vomiting when I took it. I had to stop taking it after 2 days because it was so bad. I guess it's a good thing that other people have a lot of different reactions, otherwise the pharmaceutical industry would be in a lot of trouble.
My doctor said that Cephalexin is generally well-tolerated, but to keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction. If you ever experience any of these symptoms, seek medical help right away.
I took Cephalexin for a skin infection and had no issues at all. I think it's important to remember that side effects can vary greatly from person to person. That's why it's always a good idea to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.
Cephalexin saved my life once. A nasty infection kept coming back until I took it. But Yeah, it sucks you have to deal with side effects.
I took Cephalexin for a tooth infection and had no problems at all. I think people worry too much about side effects sometimes. Just follow your doctor's advice and you'll be fine.
I had a severe headache and joint pain while on Cephalexin. I had to take Tylenol every day to get through it. I didn't know if it was worth it, but my infection cleared up.
