Just finished my course of Ofloxacin 0.3% Otic Solution for a nasty ear infection. How long until I feel better?
I've just completed my 10-day course of Ofloxacin 0.3% Otic Solution for a bacterial ear infection. The doctor said it should clear up, but I'm still feeling some discomfort. How long does it usually take for the infection to completely go away and the ear to feel normal again? Also anyone else have any ear irritation or change in taste while using this medication?

Did your doctor tell you to keep the ear dry? I had to use a shower cap as a precaution.
Ofloxacin is a lifesaver for ear infections. But seriously, if you get a rash or have trouble breathing, get help immediately.
Ofloxacin saved my ear from an infection I got from a dirty earbud. Moral of the story: clean your earbuds, kids.
I had a similar experience. Give it some time, but if it gets worse, call your doctor.
I had severe ear pain while using this. Turns out I was allergic. If that happens, stop and call your doctor ASAP.
I got a weird taste in my mouth too. It went away after a few days. Hope you feel better soon!
