I recently had an MRI where the doctor used Elucirem to get clear pictures of my organs. I was nervous since I've heard about some serious side effects but when I got home I felt fine. Does anyone else have experience with this dye? I'm curious if anyone else had any reactions, serious or minor. How was your experience?

I had an allergic reaction to Elucirem during my MRI. My doctor was able to treat it and I was fine, but it was scary. I wish I had known about the potential for allergic reactions beforehand, or perhaps I wouldn't have had to experience it to get an appointment with a specialist.

I had an MRI with Elucirem 5mmol/10ml Inj, 10ml a few months back and experienced no side effects. I was a bit worried about the possibilities of experiencing any serious side effects but was relieved when there were none

Elucirem is generally safe for most people. Did you know it's a type of gadolinium-based contrast agent? These are commonly used in MRIs to enhance image quality. Just make sure you stay hydrated after the procedure to help your kidneys flush it out.

I never felt any side effects from any of the contrast agents, really. Most people are fine.

My friend had a really bad reaction to Elucirem. She developed kidney issues and ended up in the hospital. It's scary stuff, but thankfully rare. Stay safe, everyone!

The side effects sound scary, but I've had three MRIs with Elucirem and never had any issues. It's all about communicating with your doctor. If you feel something, let them know right away.

Did you pass out before feeling something? I always get dizzy and feel like I'm going to faint during the injection, but it passes quickly.

I had it last year, and I felt a bit warm at the injection site, but that was it. No big deal, but make sure you tell your doctor if you feel anything weird.

I had an MRI with Elucirem and experienced a bit of warmth at the injection site. It was uncomfortable, but nothing serious. Make sure to stay hydrated after the procedure to help your body flush out the contrast agent.

I had a bad reaction to it. I woke up with a rash and felt really itchy. My doctor said it was an allergic reaction and switched me to a different contrast agent for my next MRI. I wish someone had warned me about that!
