I had Exparel during my knee surgery and it was a lifesaver. The pain was significantly manageable, but I did experience some dizziness and a mild rash. My advice: stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activities for the first few days.
If you have any issues, don't hesitate to call your doctor. My nurse was great about answering questions and keeping a close eye on me. They even gave me a list of symptoms to watch out for.

I had a similar experience. My doctor warned me about the potential for more serious side effects like allergic reactions and methemoglobinemia. Fortunately, I didn’t encounter any of those but staying vigilant is key. If you experience anything severe, go to the ER immediately.

Exparel is great, but I had a horrible time with numbness and tingling. It was weird and almost unbearable. But my doc said it was normal and would pass. It did eventually. Just give it time.
