Got my Flulaval Quad Pf 2022-23 shot today and want to know what side effects others have experienced. How severe is the muscle or joint pain? What about the kids who are getting vaccinated? Also, are there any specific tips to mitigate these effects? Any personal experiences with the VAERS reporting system? Let's discuss!

I got mine last week and had a bit of soreness at the injection site and a mild headache. Nothing too bad, though. I took some ibuprofen and rested, and I was fine the next day. Just make sure to stay hydrated!

I've been getting the Flulaval shot for years and never had any issues. I think it's crucial for everyone to get vaccinated, especially since the flu can be super dangerous for vulnerable populations, especially kids.

I got my shot today and, so far, only a little soreness at the injection site. My coworkers told me the flu shot gives you the flu. I told them no, it can't give you the flu. Ha! Let's hope it stays that way.

I had a terrible reaction to the flu shot last year. I ended up with a high fever and body aches for three days. That was probably the worst experience of my life. I'll be nervous about getting the shot this year, but I know it's important.

Has anyone else had any issues with the VAERS reporting system? I've been trying to report a few side effects, but the process seems a bit confusing.

I read that kids can have some pretty severe side effects. I think it’s important to balance the risks and benefits. The flu can be dangerous but so can severe vaccine reactions. I don't know what to do.

My kid had the flu shot last year and had a mild fever and some diarrhea. It was a bit tough on him, but he bounced back quickly. Just make sure to monitor them closely and keep some Pedialyte on hand.

I had a bit of an allergic reaction last year. I started to feel dizzy and my throat was tight. I didn't seek immediate medical attention but I should have. Be aware of the symptoms and don't hesitate to call a doctor if you get an odd reaction.
