I just received my Menquadfi 0.5ml IM Vial (5 Pack) vaccine. I've never had this vaccine before, so I'm not sure what kinds of side effects to expect. The information I found online lists a lot of common and some rare side effects, and I’m a bit worried. Has anyone else had this vaccine? What were your experiences like? Can anyone share their stories or any advice on how I can manage any symptoms that arise?

I didn’t have any side effects at all, but I heard from a friend who had a bit of trouble controlling body movements for a day. It’s so rare, but it’s good to be aware. Thankfully they got better soon enough. If you or anyone you know experiences something similar, call the doctor right away.

I had some muscle pain and a headache, but it went away after a day. Just make sure to drink plenty of fluids and rest if you feel tired to handle any lingering symptoms from the vaccine. I also found that taking it easy for the rest of the day made a big difference.

I got it last year and had a bit of a sore arm for a couple of days, but nothing too bad.

I had diarrhea for a few days, but my doctor said it was normal. Be prepared for that on the off chance it happens.

Rash at the injection site. Hadd tingling for a few hours, but it was minor. If you notice any itching or discomfort, call your doctor and they can recommend something to help you feel better. I used a topical cream and it cleared up within a day.

Got the vaccine for my kid, and she had a mild fever the next day. Easy to manage with children’s paracetamol. No other problems from it.

Not sure if this is related, but I felt really weak and dizzy after getting the vaccine. I had to lie down for a while. So if you start feeling lightheaded, don’t hesitate to rest for a bit or seek medical help. Always better to be safe.

I’m always worried about allergies with vaccines. Make sure you stay in the doctor's office for a bit after the shot, just in case. Better to be safe than sorry if you react to it.
